CHAPTER 165 (ANOTHER NIGHTMARE)

ANNA’S POV

We mounted Charles’ vessel, and as it began its journey across the large seas, I went in search of him.

He had seen me among the men, but for some reason, he hid away, not wanting to face me. He probably felt guilty for what he did, but I wasn’t concerned with that.

There was a new battle ahead of us, and if we didn’t all work together to solve it, it was going to become another nightmare just like Lartes.

“Charles?” I called as I got to the front of his cabin.

I left the men behind to make shelters as we journeyed and knowing that we still had a couple of hours before we got to the island.

In those hours, I planned to use it properly to speak some sense into Charles and have him on my side of the battle.

“Charles, I know you are there and I know you can hear me. Please let me in we need to talk,” I said but once again the door didn’t bulge open.

I moved towards it and I lowered myself to the floor in front of it.
