CHAPTER 52 (TWISTED THOUGHTS)

ANNA'S POV

I spent the rest of the night on the floor, thinking and plotting.

I pushed my wolf aside and allowed my anger toward Xavier to grow. I made the mistake of sleeping with him but I wouldn't let that stop me from hating and ending him. There was obviously no difference between him and his uncle.

At dawn, I got off the floor, my body sore and numb from the aches of yesterday and from sleeping on the hard floor.

It took a lot of effort to get on my feet and I wished I could just lay down on the floor till whenever but I did not want Xavier to wake up and find me on the floor.

It was enough that he had seen me weak yesterday. That was going to be the last time he was ever going to see me weak again.

My lower abdomen still hurt and my core was very sore but I gritted my teeth and continued to push forward.
