I was pacing around my room, my fists clenched behind my back.

I just couldn't help but wonder what was happening between Kayla, my mate, and Alpha Lex, who had stormed my pack by the middle of the night just to claim her for himself.

Several thoughts and silly imaginations kept on lingering in my head at this point and for a second, it felt like everything I had thought about were really happening.
