CHAPTER 12 - The Kiss

It was like a fleeting second that only the wind and waves sounds can be heard. The Alpha King’s heart has been torn apart while Andreitte’s chest beats erratically as she saw the sudden pain that flashes through his eyes.

“You really hate the Alpha King so much?” he asked while looking at her with such an unfathomable expression now.

“I have just said what I feel for him, I don’t need to reiterate myself,” she retorted with sarcasm. She casts him with a glowering look.

He heaves a deep breath wanting to calm himself. If she is another woman, she might have strangled her to death already having experienced a lot of disrespect from her already. But, he cannot just kill her, his heart and his wolf would definitely not allow him to just do it.

“Do not try to escape anymore, if you still want to live for more years,” he said in his coldest tone as he stand up. He grabs her right arm and pulls her up to stand too.
