CHAPTER 37: DEMIGODS 2

She started to

hyperventilate. I ran to her side.

"Hazel, breathe, it's ok Little Kitten. I'm

here." As soon as our eyes made contact, her body relaxed instantaneously.

"Come and sit. Let Isis finish."

The room was once again my office.

She took my hand and blindly followed me back to

the chair facing Isis. We sat and Isis took it as her cue to continue.

"I'm sorry dear if I frightened you but I'm a

white witch, so you can trust me. I mean you no harm."

Hazel nodded her head slightly. "Ok."

"When Lucy asked me to perform a spell I was

shocked. I didn't know she knew I was a witch. At first, I thought Abby told

her but the thought left my mind when she told me she had a vision of me

performing the spell on her a few days before."

"Woah! Hold the fuck up! So what you're

telling me is that my mom was a witch too?" Hazel's voice rang in my ear.

"Well, that's what I thought at the time."

"So, if she wasn't a witch, then what the

hell was she?"

"I'm getting there. She wanted me to perform

a
