King Lucifer stood there, listening to what this human was telling him. A human he allied with some years ago and who helped him to devise a plan to control the world of the supernatural. Lucifer knew this human loathed him, since he, too, was a supernatural creature. A dark wizard, to be exact, but Lucifer knew this human was too weak to challenge him. “His name is Gerard Smith, and he is a bitten." The human spoke with disdain, catching Lucifer's attention. Bernard Delaware hated he had to succumb to this piece of grime who hailed himself a king. But he felt the League of Hunters was not ready to take on the great Dark Wizard. Right then they needed Lucifer's help in defeating the Wolf Pond Pack. But Lucifer didn't see the usefulness of hearing about this bitten wolf until Bernard added, “He is a part of the Demon wolf's pack.”With a cunning grin, Lucifer twirled around to meet Bernard's gaze. “Is that so? Tell me everything that went down.” So, Bernard Delaware informed King Luc
JULIA'S POVMy rough hands clung to the surface of the embankment as we climbed to the lair entrance. Stones burrowed into my knees, peeling at my skin. My palms were sore and bruised. Dozens of scratches littered my arms and legs. With each inhale and exhale, my lungs burned and came close to blistering. I was tired, and I didn't know how much longer I could hold on. My fingers dug harder into the wall and I halted, resting the side of my face on the surface of the ridge. “Julia, don't stop now. We're almost there." Declan's voice was an encouragement. I scanned down below to have a glance at him and regretted my decision to do so. The dropdown below seemed endless, as darkness was all I could see. “Just don't look down, Julia.”“He's right, Jules. Look at me," Zander stated from above. My eyelids were heavy as I lifted my gaze to greet him up above. “That's it, Julia. We're almost there. See, James is already at the top." “OK. I can do this," I chanted, lifting one leg after the o
Like the noise a woodpecker creates as its beak hammers away pecking at the trunk of a tree, that was how hard and fast Julia's heart was thumping. At first, in the somber light, the dragon king's skin was like an artwork of shadows and ivory, but as soon as he stepped out into the brightness a tarpaulin of colourful tattoos that told a tall tale met Julia's sight. The artwork was so delicately designed, and it covered the right side of his body. He was devilishly handsome, with eyes so red they seemed like they were on fire. His muscles danced, and his gaze was diamond hard as he drank up Julia's nakedness. He had never seen a more radiant beauty. He was pleased with her dark chocolate skin, imagining how sweet she would taste. Julia wasn't at all intimidated by him, but she couldn't help but feel a twinge of discomfort like she was facing a panther in the jungle. Her body was frozen into place as the beautiful, sinful predator stalked up to her. She asked herself why he was starin
“Zander," Hazel shouted in relief when she saw her husband walking towards them. She ran into his arms and hugged him with everything she had in her. “I'm so happy you're OK."“I've only been gone a day," Zander declared. “But I'm delighted to see you too, Kitten," he leaned down and kissed her lips. “Sunshine," James called to her. “Dad," Hazel yelped, running out of Zander's arms and into her father's. “Are you OK?"“Yes, my love. I am OK." He squeezed her with all his might. He sensed how relieved she was to see that her loved ones are alright. Declan entered the scene, and Hazel's eyes and his clashed. “How about you, are you alright, Declan?" Hazel asked him. His wolf was affected just by the sweet, saccharine tone of her voice. But it hurt him that he couldn't enjoy a hug from her without fantasizing about having her. “Yes, Luna. I am fine." He stated a little too coldly. Hazel was taken aback by his tone, and Zander felt his turmoil, and it was at that point Alpha figured i
DREADWING'S POVI was ready to take my eternal and fly off into the sunset to a place where we could be alone. I didn't feel like talking to these beings at the moment. My dragons and I wanted to taste our eternal's lips. Honestly, I saw the Luna's mouth moving, but my senses were elsewhere thinking about Julia's warm flesh rocking back and forth on my shaft. "Dreadwing." My ears perked at the sweet honey-coated voice of Julia and the tiny hairs on my arm stood up from the statics her touch brought. "Yes, My Queen." My lips transformed into a smile as soon as my eyes travelled from her luscious breasts and settled on her beautifully crafted face. Her brows furrowed. "Hazel asked you a question." "Oh right. I must admit, you are just too distracting." I smacked my lips and she turned away, apparently affected by my words. I cleared my throat. "What was your question, dear?" I turned my attention to the doppelganger of my best friend, Lucinda. Even though it had been almost ten years
Dazed and disoriented, Freya studied the white-haired woman who was inching closer to her. Her curvaceous body with her silver hair and milky eyes made her a looker. She was beautiful, but there was something so familiar about the woman, like she'd met her before. Isis paused when she noticed Freya's confused stare. “It is I, child. Isis.”“Wait, what? But you're supposed to be old.” Freya gasped. “That's because she did something bad,” another voice made it through the rubble. Isis's gaze shot to the slender woman, pushing her body up off the ground and dusting the debris off her clothes. “Prudence!” Isis yelped. “Hello, Isis,” Prudence grinned. Tears pooled in her eyes as she pushed past her sister and fell into Isis's arms. “Oh, my child,” Isis cried. “You're alive.”“Yes. I am.”“Wait, I don't understand. How do you look so young and fresh?” Freya wanted to know. “Forget about that and come give me a hug,” Isis declared. Freya rushed and dove into Isis's arms. “I'm so happy
DIMITRI'S POVMy ears kept ringing, tuning out the tautologies of the merman. My bloodlust increased, and my body couldn't fathom what I just learnt. I sunk my fangs into my bottom lip out of anger. “Impossible!” Zander raged. Gidian was reeling at the forefront, ready to rip into someone. Maybe me. And Alpha Zander wasn't even trying to hold him back. “Are you sure?”“Yes. I'm sure of it.” The merman stated. “And what says you two?” Zander asked the witches. “I—I am not certain. The child calls Lucifer uncle, so we thought she was his kin,” Freya let out. “That would explain Zoey's protectiveness of her. Plus the child did seem attached to Zoey,” Prudence wondered out loud. I couldn't take this anymore. I felt the skin on my back parting. My wings only ever came out when I was feral, and, trust me, I was close. “Dimitri. Calm down. We will bring them back,” Julia stated. “You're right.” I calmed down. “We can use the same portal stone to get back into Lucifer's hideout.” “I'm
I DO NOT WRITE FOR A LIVING. I WANT TO MAKE THIS CLEAR. I work 16 hours every day except for Fridays. I work doubles every day because I have a mortgage and bills to pay. I have people who depend on me for survival. I just do not have the time to write. On Fridays I am busy cooking meals to last me throughout the week, doing my laundry, house shopping, running errands, or most importantly, sleeping. For those who can't wait for updates. Then do what I do as a reader, don't start a book that's not completed. I have a life outside of writing. The only reason I'm even writing this right now is because I am at a friend's baby shower and I had to ask this day 3 weeks in advance. Anyone can be upset, frustrated, or angry but I will not tolerate disrespect. If you can't wait, which I do understand, it has been forever since I've updated, but just forget about this book and move on to another book that's completed. No need to act all grimy over here. TF you think you are.
