Harriet's POV

Is that disgust I saw in his eyes when I asked him if he is betrothed? I was confused and angry but his embrace, I do not wish to move away. I feel so protected and calm. I could hear his fast heart beat. However, his words made me feel familiar, as if someone said these to me before. As if I once had a former life with him. I feel like I miss him and just want to be with him. I'm supposed to push him away and ask him to leave but I can't. I wish to be with him and the part he said nothing can separate us.
