Roy glared at Bryan as he stopped speaking, “What about when you asked her to pick a date for your wedding? Why was she giggling?”

Bryan shrugged, “You heard wrongly. She asked me for the wedding date and I told her, ‘There was going to be no wedding.” And she began chuckling like a fucking lunatic. I’m breaking the engagement as soon as you achieve what I want you to at the Lycan Council.”

“I’ll think about it,” he turned and began walking toward the door, “I…” he sighed and walked out, slamming the door close.

As he left, Bryan picked up his phone and placed a call to Alpha Nathan, “It’s done. Please prepare it for him.”

“Sure.”

Roy met carpalia at the lobby of Anderson Inc. and they exchanged awkward pleasantries.

“I’m sorry about your accident Mr. Jordan,” He began, his usually stoic face flushed, “I only heard about it a few days ago.”

Roy only gave him a nod before walking away from the company and flagged down a taxi that took him to the apartment Hailey was staying with Kyle.
