CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Aurora's POV.

I have served about three tables and now I’m heading out to hand serve the fourth. I’m going to have a short break after I’m done serving the fourth table before I continue.

I carry the silver tray in my hand and head outside. Eva is still giving me her cold attitude and I couldn’t care less. I’m here to do my job and earn money and not to be bothered about if my presence plaques her or not.

She could die of discomfort for all I care.

The silver tray in my hand has three glasses of red wine on it and just like I’ve been doing earlier, I’m holding it firmly and carefully.

The last thing I want to do is spill the drink on someone and ruin his or her dress. That’s going to be a catastrophe and it won’t end well for me, given my present “daughter of a traitor” status.

"Are you doing fine, Aurora?" My mother's mind link comes through as I get closer to the table I am going to serve.
