There was absolute silence. The entire house seemed stand still, just like the trio did. No one said a word, they just gazed at each other, trying to gather their thoughts.

"We should sit down. The food has been served already." Bruce said, breaking the silence and gesturing for them to enter the dining room. Ivy could see the pancakes and chocolate syrup she had perceived when she woke up. They looked quite appetizing and she swallowed. Cakes and freshly baked bread were also placed on the table with freshly squeezed orange juice, the perfect breakfast.

Despite how hungry she was, she made no move towards the table. Her head was bowed ,her toes suddenly becoming fascinating. She was intimidated by his presence. His powerful aura exceeded Bruce's and she couldn't hide how small she felt in front of him. She waited for him to move towards the table before she did.
