Ivy was uncomfortable. They had been seated for five minutes, quietly drinking the tea she had prepared. But the silence made her edgy. Couldn't she see that she was nervous already? Why was she staring at her like she was looking right into her soul?

Ivy took in a deep breath. She didn't know much about her mother but that would change soon. She had tried to prepare her mind but she knew it would still hurt her. Athena knew her mother more than she did. In fact, she didn't know her mother at all. It would hurt to hear all about her from strangers, but she needed to know.

"What was she like? My mom." She asked

Athena smiled. She had a very kind smile and was gentle. "She was brave and full of life. She saw the world in a very different way. She had such a pure heart."
