Chapter 18
When she came back to her senses,she quickly released him and shifted back.
"Ehm, sorry,it was a out of happiness",She explained while looking down.
"It's okay", Adam replied.He did not want to make it anymore awkward for her when he saw that she was looking down and blushing.
"Good night",he said as he went to lie down on the makeshift bed on the floor while she got back on the bed.
"Good night",She replied.
Adam fell asleep immediately but it took Evelyn few minutes before she fell asleep as the thought of what she did appeared when she closed her eyes.She had to wheel the thought away with the thought of her pending presentation before sleep took over.
Adam woke up early the next day as usual and he stood up to check the time and saw that it was still early.He decided to let Evelyn sleep for sometime before he wake her up.

I did some modifications in the previous chapters.I saw that I started using the name Benita as Evelyn's friend but along the line I drifted to Bianca.I don't even know how that happened but I have done the needed changes.

He went into the hospital and was surprised that there was no harassing.Formerly, someone would have been disturbing him because of his appearance but not today.Maybe Jacob has warned them about it.He went to the reception centre where he found a receptionist.He told the receptionist that he was here to see his sister."I am here to see Amanda King".The receptionist asked of his name and his relationship with Amanda."I am Adam King and she is my sister",he told her.The receptionist checked the computer and checked searched for Amanda King's file,she checked relatives and saw his name there before she told him the ward and explained how he will get there.The ward was a VIP ward which was upstairs,so he took the elevator and got to a smaller Receptionist centre where he told the young man at the desk his name, his sister's name,relationship with the patient and the ward he was directed to.The receptionist told him the room number.
