Chapter Forty-One
Autumn
We went to Poirot's after school. Ty and Colton had work to do while we girls had lots to talk about. We sat at our usual table by the window. Mey and Norma had tea, Jess had a cappuccino, and I ordered a hot chocolate.
My period was coming; I could feel it. Once I started to crave for chocolate and sweet stuff, that was when it was gonna hit me soon. Even Jess knew about it as she pointed to my hot chocolate and tiramisu. "Coming soon?"
"Soon enough," I groaned. I hated periods. Who doesn't? It is that time of the month where anything, even the smallest thing, can piss me off. I am easily triggered and feel annoyed all the time. Oh, and don't let me start talking about the cramps. Period pain is excruciating, almost as painful as having a toothache.
