We walked back to where the rest of the group was. Almost in an instant, I noticed that both Shanelle and Lucas were nowhere to be seen. Given the circumstances, I would probably hide under the rock if I were them. A surge of concern swept through me. I hoped wherever they were, they were together because at a times like this, it was more bearable to be with someone.

I glanced absentmindedly at the now darkened screen. It was a good thing Cas had immediately stopped the video before it revealed God knows what. Although it did make me wonder whether the things being revealed were indeed true or merely another rumor Villain X was trying to spread around. 

I caught Ty's arm and quickly asked him. "Where did Shanelle go?"

It was one thing to prank someone just for the sake of joking, but to humiliate them in front of their family and everyone else was not funny. Not just a step, Villain X had taken a leap.
