Damon's p.o.v
"Easy," I whispered as father looked at me and nodded.
He was leaning against me while slowly walking to the couch in the living room.
I still was upset and against the doctor's decision of discharging him. To me he still looked unwell and weak, he needed to stay a few more days in his ward, being taken care of by the nurses. But no, the damn council couldn't have that. They wanted him discharged as soon as possible so that he would begin taking up his tasks as he did.
How selfish were those old bastards!. They only cared about themselves and their damn rules.
"Damon." He called softly.
"Yes, Dad." I answered when I looked at him.
"Are you still upset with the council for ordering the doctor to discharge me?" He asked.
"No." I denied a
Hera's p.o.v"Stay still," Charlotte ordered as I did.She was busy plaiting braids in my hair with a smile.I was watching her every move in the mirror with a smile. She looked like she was enjoying what she was doing and that made me happy."Are you that happy doing my hair?" I asked softly. She looked at the mirror then nodded."Yes. Why are you asking me that though?' she asked back."Well, because I have never seen someone so happy doing another person's hair. This is a first." I answered honestly."Really?. I thought you humans had hairdressers who enjoy doing your hair." She said."Of course we do. But where I was staying, they always had this mean look plastered on their faces while doing my hair." I answered.
Ava's p.o.vI looked at my hands pressed together on my lap with a low sigh. Judging from Damon's tone and rude reply, he didn't want me closer to his father or their house. Even now he sat next to Berry on the couch staring at me coldly and that made me feel very uncomfortable."Son, how about you take a walk outside, I will be fine." Berry said softly."What?" Damon asked loudly while he sat upright and turned to face him."You heard," Berry said seriously."You have an hour old man." He said then stood up and looked at me from head to toe before walking out.I swallowed hard and lifted my gaze only to meet Berry's eyes. He sat there smiling softly at me."I'm so sorry about that." He a
Zver's p.o.v"You called for me," I asked with detest."Yes, I did." Mother answered seriously."So, you wanted to tell me something about my father, isn't it?" I asked. My bastard of a brother came to call me from my room telling me that my so-called mother wanted to tell me something about my father. Since it involved him, I couldn't say no or refuse."Well...." She hesitated. She was shifting every second uncomfortably and her eyes were radish, she looked like she was from crying and she was slightly pale. What news would make her look so miserable that involved my father?. Because my mother was a prideful female, showing such a side to me was rare."Your father...." She trailed off as my he
Charlotte's p.o.vI looked at Hera who was sighing yet again. I could tell something wasn't right with her, but then again wouldn't she think of me as nosy if I was to ask her what was wrong?.Yesterday I made sure she looked very gorgeous and it turned out well because our alpha looked very happy and impressed with her. He even went for a walk with her. Her sighing was definitely related to something else."Hera," I called softly to get her attention. She looked at me then frowned."What is it?. Is my small house not to your liking?" I asked in concern. It wasn't the first time she was visiting my house. But then again she was always nervous whenever she was sitting in my living room.&n
Hera's p.o.vI lay down looking at Zver who was going through his laptop on the couch. He looked very serious and that was a relief. His attention wasn't much on me but on whatever he was looking at.I smiled sadly and blinked the forming tears away. It was going to be hard to leave no matter how I looked at it."What are you looking at?" I asked softly."Just something to do with my pack." He answered without looking at me."I have never seen you on a laptop before." I said honestly."Oh, I got it that time we went in town." He answered."Hey," I called softly. He looked up and faced me with a smile."I love you," I whispered
Zver's p.o.v"What?" I asked immediately I walked into the elders' hunt. For some reason, I was feeling agitated and nervous. It was a first for me and I couldn't understand why."Alpha." They greeted together in their respectful tone."Please do take a seat," Father said softly.I easily gave in and moved, sitting down on a rock."I believe you called me because you have something very important to tell me." I said seriously."Son. Remember what you told me about the hunters?. You were sure that there was a possibility they might come here or plan an ambush." He said as I frowned. Why the hell was he telling this to the damn elders. I was handling the matter on my ow
Berry's p.o.v"So what's your deal and story, Father?" Damon asked behind me.I ignored him and continued cleaning my sword carefully. What exactly did he want to hear from me?. How I loved the woman so much and that I was willing to be injured for her?. By now he was suppose to know that I had feelings for Ava."Dad." He called loudly.I put the sword on the table and slightly turned to face him."What?" I asked seriously."What's your deal with Ava?. Don't you even dare say you are just friends, because you can't go this far for just a mere friend?" He said with folded arms.I brushed my hand over my face and leaned against the couch calmly.
Hera's p.o.vMy heart was beating rapidly while Edward drove to my house. It looked so unreal that we were finally in town and near home. He made sure to drive without stopping and avoided the main roads. I was very scared knowing how Charlotte had warned and briefed me who the hunters were and how dangerous they turned out to be. Luckily we made it after a long drive, it was afternoon and I was very exhausted from lack of sleep but that didn't bother me at all.Immediately Edward parked the car in front of the house, I opened the car door and dashed to the entrance, twisting the doorknob and walking in."Mom!" I called loudly as tears filled my eyes."Mother," I called again, this time my voice broke slightly.I heard the door upstairs open t
