Book 4: Chapter 22-Jealous

“Aren’t you going out? Your Mamita Nida is there,” Shaina asked Trisha.

“Later, Mom.” She pretended to be busy chatting on the cellphone.

Shaina sighed softly and did not force her daughter. She knew she was avoiding Cyril.

Trisha immediately put down her cellphone she was holding when her mother was gone. She saw the arrival of Cyril’s family just earlier, so she entered her room. She is not yet ready to face Cyril’s parents with him. She was no longer surprised when he immediately followed her home to the Philippines.
