GAVIN

I was running at the utmost speed while trying to send a mindlink to my mother. But her mind was closed off. Although Luna Clair was sure that Alia was spending time with Mom, I couldn´t calm myself until I see it with both eyes.

I feared that she would leave and I would never find her until it was too late.

I shouldn't have left her alone last night to think I wanted nothing to do with her.

"Mom!" I shouted as soon as I entered the small gate separating our land from the main street.

I rushed inside the house and saw my mother peeking from the kitchen. "Gavin! You´re here!"

I was still panting when I moved towards her, holding her shoulders but placing her to the side so I could have a good look at the whole area. My heart dropped when I didn´t find her anymore.

"WHere is Alia?" I asked my voice almost at the point of breaking.

My mother´s forehead creased before she scrunched up her nose, "Use your nose. Can´t you smell her?" Her lips tugged into a teasing smile.
