CONNECTIONS

Sophie had just finished her laundry and returned to her apartment, feeling a pleasant exhaustion from the day's chores. She hadn't wanted to do it, almost picked up her phone to call her housekeeper but then she had thought about it when Joyce came around to help her out with it. “So, like you are traveling home next weekend?” She asked, glancing over her shoulders to see her friend's face.
