Tyler could have sworn that Sophie was avoiding him. She hadn't stepped in the room last night until it was time to get ready for dinner. At dinner, she played her part for their friends but as soon as dinner ended, she had gone up to her room to rest because she was tired even though he could bet his life on it that when he came in, she had just jumped into bed.

It didn't make sense to him but again, nothing made sense to him as long as it came to Sophie.

He had tried to ignore how his heart would float at the sight of her or how his whole body would go on fire when she was happy. He had excused it for not being involved with other women over the months but he couldn't be so sure anymore. He wasn't so sure anymore.

Now, he was in the room getting ready for the trip Harper had planned for them this fine morning but Sophie was nowhere in sight. She hadn't stepped out of the bathroom since she went in over an hour ago and thirty minutes since the shower stopped running.
