Athina stood near the window of her room, with a glass of drink in her hand, her gaze was straight until the last floor of the house.
The lights around the house made it easy and clear for her to see, she was merely at peace with herself, but at least with her best male buddy around, it was slightly fair.... much better than the past week.
She needed the space, it was really worth it, keeping her at peace, keeping her muddled thoughts together, helping her to think through and enjoy her scenery even more than she needed.
It was worth it.
Until a hand rested on her shoulder, stubble rubbing against her chin, did she jerk back to consciousness.
