Just Like Old Times

Diam hurried to his feet pulling Baby with him in a swift move. He hid her barely clad body behind him. Quickly, he took off his coat and tucked her inside it. Her head was lowered and her face was crimson from embarrassment. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips at the sight of her dimples, glowing brighter than they did four years ago.

"Just like old times, Baby." He whispered, before turning around into the overpowering glow of the flashlight.

"What's going on here?" The patrol officer asked again, squinting his eyes to get a better view of them.

"You wanna turn off that flashlight?" Diam could barely keep his anger in check.

"Put your hands above your head." The officer ordered, taking out a handcuff.

"Turn the damned flashlight off!"

"Put your hands above your head!"

"Dane Diam, Green-Grass corporation. Turn the fucking flashlight off!"

"What?" The officer quickly turned off the flashlight. He took quick steps forward, wanting to confirm the identity.
