Hearing Jake’s remark, I almost spat out the coffee in my mouth.

Confirmed!

He was still thinking about Angela. But this time, he believed that I was not her.

Good thing, Sarah wasn’t here yet. She didn’t hear what he just said.

I swallowed hard before I responded with an annoying chuckle, “What do you mean that I am not Angela?”

Then, I gently put down my coffee on the table as I waited for his reply.

“I mean, you’re not the Angela that I met in Spain.” He declared as he leaned back on the couch.

“Well, I already told you yesterday that I had never met you before,” I stated as I smiled.

I felt at ease now. Finally, he was convinced that we never met before.

However, I noticed when he clenched his jaw while his brows lowered.

“Then, who are you? You’re not the real Angela. But why do you look like her?” He questioned grimly.
