ALONE WITH THE BOSS

The moon was just disappearing under the thick folds of the dark clouds when Emily bid Edmund's parents farewell. They were wonderful hosts.

Even though it wasn't actually part of the plan, Emily had found herself becoming relaxed in their presence and talking with them like they'd known each other for ages.

Mrs. Hamilton had then used her charms to convince her to pay them a visit soon. And there it was; another dinner scheduled for sometime soon.

She wasn't sure Edmund was particularly pleased with his mother's decision, but he was all smiles throughout the dinner. Whatever he felt inside of him, it would have to wait until they were together alone again.

The limousine arrived immediately after the dinner. Edmund held the car open for her to enter just as he'd done when they arrived, amidst the approving nods from his parents who stood not too far away watching the love birds part together.
