“Paxton.” Rio whispered, but it feels odd now speaking of his name.

Enrobed, her chest throb. It wasn’t nervousness, nor fear she felt. Peeve and aggravated by that tiniest bit of betrayals, if she is going to name that feeling. It was clinging. Pestering her mind with thoughts that couldn’t keep their selves at bay. It was brewing. Combined with the chaos she had a handfuls of, Rio could feel an upcoming headache on her temples, but she pay no heed. Her eyes were trained across to the man, whom she entrusted herself, probing to believe what his claims before.
