Margret was overcome with anxiety. She attempted to explain, her expression one of frustration, "Junior, don't you understand? I'm your mother; she's trying to deceive you."

But Charlie Jr. had had enough. He bellowed with anger, his disappointment visibly etched on his face. Never before had he encountered such a brazen woman. She showed no remorse for her lies and was still trying to deceive him.

Margret's face drained of colour. She struggled to say something, but Charlie Jr. cut her off, "Mom, let's go."

Chloe smiled innocently and nodded, and Margret watched helplessly as they left the room. She stood there motionless, unable to believe what had just happened. Her own son had been taken away from her right under her nose. She shook her head in disbelief, tears streaming down her face.

As Charlie Sr. entered the ward with the DNA test results, he was taken aback to find Margret weeping. Rushing to her side, he asked with concern, "Margret, why are you crying?"
