Margret was taken aback when Charlie Sr asked her to visit him in the hospital, using his son as a shield. Her opinion of him instantly soured - what a petty and cowardly man!

But when she tried to close the door on them, Charlie Jr dropped a hint that made her uneasy. "Your son is a student at the Central Military Academy in the Capital," he said, his tone carrying a veiled threat.

Margret scowled, sensing that she was being threatened. "What's that supposed to mean?" she demanded icily.

Charlie Jr shrugged nonchalantly. "Oh, nothing much. Just that the Principal happens to be a good friend of mine. And if you continue to be stubborn, I might have to drop a few words to him."

Margret's heart sank. She knew that Charlie Jr wasn't just bluffing - he meant what he said. With a deep breath, she clenched her fists and ground her teeth. "Fine. I'll come with you to the hospital," she spat, storming off to change.
