"Hi, Daddy! Are you finally back home?" a dazed stare, an angry look, a quiet atmosphere. This was what met with Dennis's question, as Shannon exchanged glances with Nana, and then Ryans's cold intensity.

Shannon watched as Ryan's jaw tightened, his jaw clenched as he shot her a cold look, "Daddy?" the word resounded in his ear. He started imagining the sound of that name from his child, Daddy? Those were the word he usually yell when his father was always assaulting his mother.

"Daddy!" the name brought so many pains, fresh memories right to his head, how he would yell and scream begging for his father to leave his mother alone. The pains, the stab was right there.
