Chapter 9

Devon woke up feeling useless he wanted to get up from his bed and use the restroom but he couldn't.he felt hopeless. The events of the past two days playing over in his head.

"Man, this sucks big time." He said to himself.

If someone had told him he will be stuck in a wheelchair he would have at least left a punch on the person's face.but here he was looking helpless. He got his job taking and all his plans gone. It's been a while he had felt this helpless the last time he had felt like this was five years ago when he lost his aunt Maya. She had been his only parent. When she died he had been devastated. Music had been the only thing to keep him going now he can't even perform.

Trying not to dwell too much on his negative thoughts, He tried to at least sit up but he couldn't do that either, the lower part of his body was partially dead. From his waist down felt useless.
