FIFTY Anabelle shuffled and turned in the bed and her eyes finally opened. She stretched and smiled when memories of the previous day invaded her mind. FIFTY ONE Anabelle continued pacing around her room and kept ruffling her hair, she was the definition of confused and distraught. The room was a complete mess, clothes were lying on the bed messily and there were other things that littered the floor. The closet was cleared and now empty. She had to clear everything important and move her things to Jaxon’s room…hers and Jaxon’s room. After getting the shock of the day, she had decided to go home because she had nothing important to do at the packhouse. She told Jaxon that she was going to move her things when she left the packhouse and he had offered to send an omega with her but she had declined. FIFTY TWO When Anabelle opened her eyes she did not expect Jaxon to still be next to her with his arm draped over her waist protectively. When she looked up she met his gaze and a raspy ‘good morning’ which made her face form a smile and her body to instinctively move closer to him. She continuously kept on complaining and she was more bitter because she had not been able to get Jaxon on the floor equivalent to the number of times he had landed her on the floor. CHAPTER FIFTY-FIVETHIRD PERSONAnabelle did not know what time she had slept or how she had ended up in her bed but she knew that she had drank a few bottles of wine which had caused the slight hammering of her head. She could smell the drink on herself when she woke up and was disgusted by it, she stood from the bed and rushed to the bathroom. While getting rid of the awful smell and taking a much-needed bath she suddenly remembered that she had woken up but not seen Jaxon. She finished doing everything and wore a coat over her skirt and shirt with a bit of makeup and did not forget to take some painkillers in the cabinets for the minor headache. She went downstairs and found Jaxon in the kitchen, he handed her a cup while saying good morning and she accepted the cup with a greeting and a smile.
