Chapter 12: Siblings
Writer's POV
Serena walked into her room, feeling weak, exhausted and confused. Emotions clouded her mind at once and there was no time to sort them out.
She doesn't understand what had happened in the king's chambers. Nor why it happened. All she knew was that he asked her to wait there. She laid on the bed, kicking off her shoes tiredly.
Her cellphone she had totally forgotten about due to the fear vibrated in her pocket.
Maybe it was Kate, she thought, digging it out her smile fell. It wasn't Kate but a blush filled her cheeks as her smile returned when she realized who was calling.

Making him dinner Writer's POV Serena tossed about on her bed, before opening her eyes. Staring up at the ceiling, the first thought that came to her mind was the King's words from last night. A scent filled her nose and she sat up to see Isaac dozing off on the only sofa in her room. She smiled, picking up her phone on the nightstand. She gasped when she saw a text message from Martins. Glancing briefly at the time across her screen, she put the phone away, hoping to read the text later. She was late! She had to be at the king's chambers now. She stood up quickly, and headed for the bathroom when Isaac's voice stopped her.

Running Writer's P O V "Hey, are you okay?" Isaac asked, following his sister into her new room. He had noticed that since yesterday, she had been zoning out on conversations and sometimes got lost in her thoughts. "Yeah, I'm fine. Why do you ask?" She didn't look up at him as she folded her clothes into her closet. "You just..you look lost in thought. Since yesterday you haven't been able to get a grip of yourself. It's the weekend and I'm gonna go get some groceries for the house. Care to follow?" Isaac asked, hoping to get her out of the house today. "No, no. I'll just stay right here. You know the king is around, I'll stay here in case he needs me." She answered, offering him a small smile.
