Stood Up

POV: Winston

Later that evening, I sat at the backseat of my limo with Donatella, talking animatedly to me.

"And then, I told her no no! We do not do it like that here. We take the bull by the horn, I said and... Winston?" She stopped, hesitating. "You're not listening to me. Why are you not listening to me?"

I sighed in my seat, rubbing my forehead tiredly. "It's nothing, Dona. I'm just stressed out a bit. Today was a hard day."

"Oh, my friend. I am so sorry. I shouldn't have insisted on dinner."

"No no," i was quick to stop her from beating herself up, "you didn't force me to do anything. I wanted it to."

"Well," she smiled at me, "i had a lovely evening, Winston."

"Likewise," I smiled back at her.

The limo came to a stop in front of her villa. She opened the door and stepped out, paused, changed her mind and got back in. "You know... You should tell that lovely model assistant of yours to go out with you sometime..."
