CHAPTER 73

Riella's POV.

The hall was very large. I couldn't decide if I was to call it a hall or an auditorium but the moment I and Harold walked in, we caught the attention of most people in the room. I heard murmurs from corners, some people saying beneath their breath and still trying not to be too subtle that he isn't the son of Raegan and Paul Williams. I noticed Harold tensed when he heard those but he managed to lead me away from there, jaw ticking.

I couldn't decide or wrap my head around how to describe the intricate designs and color the whole room was wrapped in but it had a tinge of coziness, one that had me relaxing.

Around me, wealthy people moved around, talking in groups and all of that. I recognized some of them as Harold business associates. At one point, I looked down at my dress, grateful that I was not below standards. I wouldn't have cared if it wouldn't affect Harold's reputation.
