CHAPTER 95

Harold's POV

I exhaled as I cracked my knuckles. I had been on this for hours. It was only right for me to take a break but since I was working non-stop, there was no break for me, I guessed.

I had a series of meetings earlier that cost me a lot of headaches and talks, especially the one that involved the board. They wouldn't stop going on and on about how I was supposed to run my company. Thankfully, I wasn't in the mood to condone their problems thus, they got the devil in me talking back at them.

My phone started to ring, bringing me out of my thoughts. When I picked it up, I realized that my mother was calling. Frowning, I wondered what she wanted again. I had just about enough on my plate already, I wasn't ready to deal with anything else just yet.

“Mother,” I started as soon as I picked up the call. If I didn't answer it now, she wouldn't stop calling and there was just no way I was going to switch off my business cell line.
