Olivia's POV

Tears welled up in my eyes as I finally understood everything that happened. It all finally made sense to me, but what hurt the most is how much I hadn't trusted my brother. It's truly all my fault.

If I hadn't agreed to get married to Lance Haberman then all this wouldn't have happened with Alexander. Now he has no other choice but to turn himself in, but the consequences of this will be severe. First is the obvious fact that his name and reputation would be tarnished. But the second is the fact that his company would run down and the family would turn broke.

If we are lucky, we'd still have this house. But everything else will fall apart.
