"I understand, Olivia. I'll give you the time you need, you can rest and calm down. Just know that I love you, and I'll be here when you're ready."

As Alexander walked away, Olivia leaned on me, seeking the support she needed in that moment. And then we were just about to go upstairs when Maria yelled at us to stop moving.

"No no Emma! Olivia! Stop!" Alexander also stopped and turned around. We all looked towards Maria. She quickly approached us and pulled Olivia away from me in anger. I wondered what exactly was going on and why she seemed so upset.

"Olivia what are you doing? You know Emma is heavily pregnant and she finds it really hard to come down the stairs because of how heavy her belly is and now she is going back up which will double the discomfort due to gravity and you want to triple it huh."
