CHAPTER NINETEEN

By the time they were halfway through the bottle, Bree was feeling less sorry for herself and more light headed.

No surprise there, she's never really been one with a head for alcohol.

It surprised her though that she'd drank up her tab at Glitz the night she'd met Ryder.

Must have been all the pent up anger from her break up fueling her body's metabolism of the damn thing and allowing her gulp down so much.

Usually, it took about the second or third glass to knock her out.

And she was dangerously close to her limit now.

She fiddled with her glass though, not letting it down for a refill. She should have known to call it quits earlier than this, but it's never too late, hmmm.

A moment later, she dumped the glass on the table abruptly, still aware of his intense orbs fixed on her like he was trying to figure her out or something, and stood up.

"Thank you for inviting me up, 'twas nice drinking with you, Rydie." She muttered.
