CHAPTER 60 MICHAEL's POV

For the next couple of moments, I felt like the hero of a thriller movie as I ran through the hallway and down the stairs I was hoping that I hadn't lost my chance at catching who the mole was.

I couldn't believe that she could have been one of the culprits of the whole extortion saga. It had me feeling quite betrayed as I had trusted everyone in the casino as though we were one big family.

But it turned out that they thought otherwise. I felt like I had been unduly gullible to be a manager as all that had been going on right under my nose.

As I ran, I didn't care about the eyes that were on me. They were all probably thinking that I had suddenly gone insane or something. But I was going to explain to them in due time.

I got down to the accounting floor where everyone was murmuring in low tones as they saw their boss running like he was being chased by demons of his nightmare. There just wasn't any time to stop and tell them that I wasn't crazy.
