X-ray stuck a finger into his right ear and wriggled it to ensure he was hearing properly.

"Did you say you slept with your target?" X-ray asked for confirmation.

"You heard me right the first time." Lara winked at X-ray and stood up from the bed to go fix herself dinner.

"Hold up, Lara," X-ray speedily climbed down from the bed and ran after her before she got to the door. He blocked her path and said in a thrilled tone.

"You mean to tell me that you had sex with a man for the very first time and he's still alive?"

"Yes, baby." Lara smiled.

"This is unbelievable! Are you aware of what this information would do to Jack?" X-ray persisted. He prevented Lara from leaving even when he observed that her smiles and patience were slowly thinning out.

"Does it look like I give a damn?" Lara flashed him an icy sneer.

"Obviously you don't. But did you know what they could do to us especially me? You are aware he has a soft spot for you. He is even willing to end things with Amelia just for you.
