WHO'S THE LADY?

HARVEY SNACKS DINER, 8:50PM

Andrew and Robin watched John from behind a car as he stood in front of Harvey Snacks Diner. He appeared to be making a phone call and then all of a sudden, his car behind them, opened and out of it came Max Reed.

"Isn't that Max? Why the hell is Max coming out of John's car?" Robin asked confusedly as she watched Max walk up to John.

They appeared to be discussing something and from their body language, it was obvious that they were quite familiar with each other. Now the question was, how exactly did they know each other and why was John even smiling with the guy who destroyed her image on campus.

"I've always had a feeling that John was a two-faced person. This only proves my suspicions right," Andrew replied.

"No, it's not possible. What exactly are you trying to say? Do you mean that he's Max's accomplice?" she asked, refusing to believe that her best friend could be anything but the angel, she had always known him to be.
