MY REGRETS

I chose to ignore the strange man who wouldn’t mind his business. Who was the man paying for my meals? I needed to know. I was about to make a call to the kitchen when the phone rang, I picked and I heard “And do you want to know the man that you need to know? Aren’t you curious? He’s waiting for you, the usual place. See you there.”

I got up and dressed hurriedly, and made for the door, I moved over to the usual place I stay every evening. He came to my seat, tall, handsome, wore a T-shirt on a trouser, a cowboy cap on his head. He sat down looking at my face and said, “Cry, baby, baby cry.” Then I knew it was the same man that had been following me from day one. “Oh!
