Chapter 46: Cold war

The search party of two returned home feeling tired and devastated. An entire day of hitting dead ends was not something to brag about and the Don was waiting for an update in his office. A positive one in this case. It was no secret his health was deteriorating by the day and he could have really used some good news to enable him take the next breath.

"What on earth are we going to tell him?" Maria asked exhaling sharply.

None of them was ready to leave the car in the parking lot. But what could they do? They had no idea what the boy looked like and finding him was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Being their first day some hope was necessary, just one problem though they just didn't have anyone to give it to them.

"You're the boss here, am just the muscle" said Shayna.

"That's true" she said leaning on her back.

"You do realize that we can't sleep in the car"
