That morning I felt gloomy, I did not wake up but rather sleep evaded my eyes. Neither mum nor dad showed up to my door for our usual morning run routines. The previous night's exchange was the only explanation. And that brought me back to the elephant in the room. What was I going to do? What if dad was serious about chasing me out of the manor and to the streets with nothing but a broke husband with no home? I yawned and turned on my bed my arms tucked. All the confidence was expelled from my body leaving a shell of my former self.
