"I hope so too. So, what were you up to since?" He asked. He moved closer to me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

I glared at him and removed his hand from my shoulders and moved a little.

"I just watched TV and ate popcorn, just that." I shrugged my shoulders nonchalantly.

"Do you want to perhaps go out and have fun before you get ready to leave for the hospital?" Caden asked.

"The elevator. I can't walk down the stairs." I replied.

"I will give you a piggyback ride." He replied with a wink.

"Forget it." I eyed him.

"Anyway, I want to sleep. You can go out on your own." I told him and left to the bedroom.

"Really babe? You want me to go on my own?" Caden laughed.

I waved my hand at him and plonked myself hard on the bed.

I felt movement on the bed and when I turned, Caden was lying beside me on the bed. He was under the duvet with me and our faces were so close that we were almost almost breathing thr same air.
