Sixty three

Alice looked up at the stormy night sky a cold shiver ran down her spine as she clutched the roses in her hand looking up at the stormy clouds, she glanced at her wrist watch.

"Ugh, why is the weather so depressing today...i don't want to be late for my date,"

It was only five in the evening but the incoming rain made it look like it was already 8 pm.

The taxi driver chuckled when he heard that.

"Ah, young love..."Then he heard the crackle of thunder.

"You must really love this boy you're going to see,"

She hugged the roses to her chest and said in one swift breath;"Yes, I really do..and I always will."

"But why are you the one bringing the flowers though?Isn't that the man's job?"

There was a sudden silence in the taxi and then a voice as sharp as a share of broken glass came from behind.

"I think you should just focus on the road,"
