Forty-Three.

Lola’s POV

I was pacing around the guest room as I tried to figure out a way in which I could still gain the upper hand.

My attempt to try and scare Alphonso into accepting the fact that I was pregnant after I announced it to the public had backfired.

I was paranoid and rarely left the house in the fear that Daniel was going to track me down and try to do something to me after what I had done to him. But then a thought came to mind: what if I got the upper hand and went to him before he came to find me?

Just because Alphonso didn’t feel he had anything to lose that wasn’t the case for Daniel. He was married and I was sure he knew I was crazy enough to do something to his wife.

I grabbed my phone and tried to search for his name.

I smirked when it came up: “That was easy.” I said to myself as I grabbed my bag to get out of the house.
