CHAPTER 34
:THEON’s POV
I left her room after our well-brought-up talk and natural ending.
That was surprising, she knew about it all along. It was like she brought the topic out in the means of letting me know she knew. How come?
Harith informed me they are unaware of where the Astrays’ formidability came from. Yeah, the Astrays member that I met was him. He led a mutiny in the memory of his lost young friend, which was Rhys’s father.
That loss was unbearable to him, that he ended up believing the rumors even though he knew it was me who arranged it; he refused to accept the truth--- that the young crown prince’s death was my fault.
I wonder if he regretted it, saving me back then.
I admit I regret nothing from what I did because I am able to save my kind. I could have considered my actions an act of treason to him but, it is such a bother he didn’t loathe me after all of that.

: RHYS’s POVThis is interesting. A dragon is actually roaming around this area.As I stared at the grey average dragon in front of me, never did I think what I desire for will just walk in front of me.Yeah, for some reason he lost his control when he saw me. That grey-haired guy back then shouted with rage as he transformed into a dragon. He even clamored those three words at me.“Stay away, run!”I do not care that much why, though.I personally took these daggers back from the castle for the reason no more than defense, and they don’t quite perform well in combat in the way as blessed swords do.Even though it is a big drawback for me, sad to say, I won’t be enjoying this match either since this weapon is special. One wound with this could temporarily turn a dragon back into its human form.Well, let us just hope his scales do not shatter easily.

: THEON’s POVAs that faint sound of roar reached my senses, I knew something was wrong.“Damn, where is it?” I frantically spat as I sprinted into this dark wood.Ryu informed me that Rhys kind of also strolled here, and David is somewhere in this forest. Then was this commotion the result of their convergence?I only let Ryu come with me, while I forbade Luna, Liam, and Ane to come. It could also save me from having more and more conflict between them. As Ryu’s destination is on the east, I assigned Fish to the west, and I then headed south.That woman, what is she thinking? Strolling in such a place without a companion is tantamount to suicide.I dashed deeper into the woods when another lapse of a loud growl echoed in the background, causing me to stop to analyze where it came from. I changed my course to the right, running at my full speed before the sound fades away.

: RYU’s POVAs I silently sat on this marble bleacher at the courtyard after I exit Theon’s room, leaving those small swords at his table. I cupped my nape with both of my hands before leaning on the back of the bench, staring at the vast blue sky.“Grey-like orbs, huh,” I softly mumbledGifts. I have seen a glimpse of Luna’s exceptionality before I came to learn about gifted humans.When we have a chat back then at the dining table, she actually guessed that I am a dragon without me hinting at it to her. : THEON’s POV “I feel sick.” I mumbled as I rested my cheek on the rough surface of my table, feeling my stomach turn around like a whirlpool. It has been growling too loud lately that I can’t even stay at the dining table for more than a minute. Where did I get these?
