Chapter 80: The Phone Call

Mabel reluctantly took it and drank, after comforting her "take me to your husband's grave, he is my friend" he told her.

She nodded fearfully, the two of them exited the house, got into the car, and they drove to the cemetery.

Mabel walked him to the grave, Don Santiago squatted "Miko, I won't allow your wife and child to suffer, I am here now, rest in peace" he said in a deep voice.

He silently stood there, remembering the times he spent with Miko, Mabel's legs started aching.

"Sir" she called out Don Santiago, he looked back, her lips were quivering "your legs must be aching, you can return to the car, I will join you later"

She nodded and left, Don Santiago keep squatting there for a long time, before he stood on his feet, and returned to the car.

When they reached Mabel's home, he sat down with her and gave her a bag.
