Valerie walked into the hall with her usual smile on her face.
The place was on fire already as the party was almost at it's peak. Woah.
"You're looking so beautiful, Mistress" her maid whispered into her ears from behind and her cheeks couldn't help but turn all red.
"Tell you what, Anna" she said. "when I become Queen, I'll make sure you're the most respected maid".
Anna's cheeks flushed immediately.
"Oh! Thank you so much, Mistress. I'll be forever grateful" she beamed.
They continued walking and stopped by at regular intervals to greet some of the distinguished guests. Then Valerie finally spotted the King and her heart stopped beating for a few seconds as she stared at him.
