Chapter 47

"Where have you been, Shane?" Daniel's mom asked looking so worried about me. I did not show her reaction. She would overact.

"I just visited your son, mom." I replied shortly.

"Really? How is he anyway? He is not visiting me here anymore." She looks disappointed. I stopped and look at her.

"He is fine, mom. He is looking great as ever." I answered.

"My son forgotten me already. Did you mind if you told him to come here?" She asked.

"Elizabeth does not want him to be here. She said that you will just be poisoning Daniel. How is that mom? She is an evil wife." I emphasize the evil when I remembered our encounter awhile ago. Gosh. My body hurts like hell. I want to rest already.

She looked at me and said, "Did you talk?" Her query made me feel down. I don't want to discuss what occurred. She needs to know the specifics of how her daughter-in-law lost her tolerance. But I'm aware that in the end, I'm still the loser. I made my way over to the living room.

After some while, I thought
