Zara

Arriving at the office, I headed straight to Xavier’s office, I knew I was in for a scolding. I knocked on the door and he yelled to come in, as always, he was seated at the desk as usual. “Good morning!” I greeted. He lifted his head and had a shocked expression on his face when he saw me.

“Zara, your head, what happened?” He asked.

“I fell down the stairs.”

I said, he didn’t look convinced though.

“Did Ezra push you off the stairs?” He asked angrily.

“No, he didn’t, I fell,” I said, I placed his coffee which I had gotten on my way here on his table.

“Are you sure?” He asked and I nodded with a giggle.

“Yes, I’m sure, how have you been?” I asked, and he smiled.

“Good, I’ve just been busy lately.” He said, he got down from the desk and sat on his chair.

“Sorry I didn’t come to work,” I said, he smiled.

“There is no problem, but there is one thing though.” He said.

“Oh, what is that?” I asked.

“We have a business meeting and party in LA tomorrow.” He said.
